Eviction advice needed - Sacramento

Going through my first eviction (Sacramento, CA). My PM transferred my case to a law firm. He said that it’s best to have them handle the process and because I am not local to the area. He also mentioned that I will most likely not earn a dime from this lady. Any advice to someone going through this for the first time?

It’s been a week and the case has not progressed.
