Long term renters using unit as Airbnb- good idea/bad idea?

I feel like I already know the answer to my own question, but does anyone allow their long-term renters to Airbnb their units while they’re out of town? I’ve had several potential tenants ask. They would do all the management and the Airbnb income would help them with rent. It theoretically wouldn’t be any extra work for me, but I feel like it might open up some extra liability issues and I’m not super excited not knowing who is staying in my units. If anyone has allowed this, I’d love to hear about your experience.

I prohibit it for all of those reasons. In addition, they are making money off your property, if you allowed it I would at least want a piece of the pie. Another lesser concern depending on the area is if AirBnB isnt allowed by ordinance you could be in hot water for what your tenants do. Mostly though it is the lack of screening and not knowing who is in your property.
