How Important are schools when buying rental property?

Hi BP Family,

I am in the market for buy and hold properties to rent out. I have found several in an area that seems promising but the school rankings suck quite frankly. How important is this to renters? The properties I am interested in most are town-homes or single family homes. The schools in the area rank lower than the national average. I would love everyone's feedback and thoughts on this. Thank you BP Family.

Schools are very important, one of the most important factors for families looking to move. The stronger the schools, the more likely the family is to stay put until their kids finish.
