Hey BiggerPockets! My name is Jared and I've recently become very interested in Real Estate investing (primarily buy and hold duplex/multiplex). I've been working on getting my finances in order and think I could make some moves hopefully in the not-too-distant future. I see there are a few folks here from Rochester and was curious if there was ever a meetup with BP members? I see one just started over in Syracuse, but I don't think I'll be able to make it out there. I also see there's a 'Freedom First' REI club on meetups.com which I'll probably go check out, but curious if there were other options. I will definitely be looking for some direction if I find a good deal. Looking forward to learning a lot and stalking the forums!

Welcome Jared, I've attended the tri-county REIA grouo and the FFREIA group of ROCHESTER. In my opinion this is a very clean mmectex community for investors with theee groups I know of at least. Enjoy the area

Hi All. We have been investing in the Syracuse area for 10 years. We plan on entering the Rochester market within the next few months. 

I'll try to attend the FFREIA and Tri-County in the next few months. 

Maybe I will see some of you folks there.
