Hello from Vancouver, WA
Hey everyone! I'm Brandon. I'm new to the site and just getting started in REI. I'd love to connect with anyone in my local Vancouver, WA area.
I'm interested in making connections with established investors.
I'm so thrilled to have found this site and see the wealth of knowledge and, more importantly, the willingness to help each other out! So cool!
Hello @Brandon Knight, welcome to BiggerPockets! It is great to have you and please feel free to jump in the community - there are certainly great people around here!

Thanks Dave! I am already noticing that! Your title says Audio Engineer. I'm curious what you actually do in that field? I am a music producer myself and work with several publishers to get my tracks place in TV shows and movies. Seems we might have something in common!

Thanks for the kind words and recommendations Dmitriy. I will definitely check out Sense Financial, as I have a decent amount of money in retirement accounts from different jobs that I want to move into some sort of self-directed IRA.
Welcome to BP. It is a great resource. You may also want to look into the Northwest Real Estate Investors Association - northwestreia.com Is is a good community of local investors. I used to be in Portland and was a member for many years.
BP has a lot of great info on SDIRA plans.
Good luck as you get started!

Thanks Brian. I'm definitely planning on joining any local real estate investment groups to begin building my network and my knowledge.
Welcome to BP! I'm in Vancouver, WA myself. Not sure how "seasoned" of an investor I am, 2 units so far and working on finding others to pick up over the next couple years. I'm getting to know a lot of the local lenders, contractors, and fellow investors lately, some great folks on this site. Best of luck getting started here, some really great "ugly duckling" homes ripe for the flipping/BRRR'ing up here if you can deal with the west coast prices.
