Car Sales Job To Gain Skills: Which Dealership?
Hi BP,
I want to improve my sales skills and increase my income to fund my marketing campaigns. Jay Hinrichs suggested a few weeks ago that a sales job would be a good idea and that advice won't get out of my head. I applied for a job at Carmax because it seemed most newb friendly and apparently they have lots of sales trainings. I am pretty sure the pay is low compared to other dealers but not sure if I would get or keep a job even if I got one. It seems like a lot of BiggerPocketters are sales guys and I want to know which dealer you recommend or if there is a different sales job you recommend.
I would be able to work nights (5pm and on, perhaps I could stretch it to 4pm but that'd be hard) Mon-Fri and then more hours on the weekends. What sales jobs would accept this?
