Property Managers Servicing Newark/Hudson County/Bergen County

Hi Everyone - as I prepare to make my next investment purchase, I want to get a property manager lined up who will be able to handle everything it takes to run the property day to day. I also would love to have someone who would be an extra set of eyes on the deals to make sure my numbers make sense vs what they're seeing, etc.

I tried searching google/yelp/etc. and couldn't find anything but mixed reviews. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm currently looking at properties in Hudson County, Bergen County, and doing research into Newark.

Thanks!

Justin

Outside of Newark, those areas seem tough to make numbers work. If you're interested in looking further South, I am the man to talk to about Central NJ. The returns are more favorable than North Jersey and there are plenty of towns that have rentals available.

Where in hudson county are you looking to invest in, in my experience the more local the property management the better.

@Justin McElroy Ive found that a lot of property managers don't have an internet presence so they can be hard to find with a traditional home search. there are a few PMs that I can think of in the areas that you just mentioned. What size property are you looking to have managed?

Appreciate the response @Vaughn Smith

I’m looking at 2-4 family properties for the time being. Let me know if you know of anyone that manages these types of properties - it would be great to connect with someone with experience in these areas.
