Hello BP family, my goals and my decision we're to start right out with multi-families. Starting small, IE 3-5 units. We plan in living in one of the units. I as in looking I'm not finding anything in my price range. So, I was thinking maybe I'll go off my path. Just a short time. So, I'm thinking Of maybe Buy 2-3 single families homes. I'll rent then out. In need for advice, I'm open to them all.

Thank you for your time

There is no right or wrong answer. The objective is to start. Whether it be SFR or multifamily take the leap. If it means finding a great partner to get started, then that's the path you take. Many have started with Single Family Homes and now control 1000's of units. Listen to Joe Fairless who started this way. His Podcast "Best Real Estate Investing Advice Ever".

I wish you the best.
