New to San Bernardino/Riverside Counties
Good Afternoon All!
Just wanted to introduce myself here! I just moved here from Central TX where I was seeking to buy residential multifamily properties.
I saw there are a variety of meet-ups in the San Bernardino/Riverside/Orange County areas, and was wondering if there were any you guys preferred? I'm still looking to buy residential multifamily properties and I'm thinking about the Inland Empire due to proximity, though as I'm new to the area, I'm sure you guys know better than me. Are there cities/neighborhoods in these counties that seem to be better for investors? Also, are there certain types properties (SFH vs multifamily) that seem to be better deals here?
I appreciate any help in getting the lay of the land!
Tyler
Hi Tyler, check out the Inland Empire Real Estate Investment Club. Fairly large group and quite a few active investors in the mix. Most do single family but people show up that do everything from mobile homes to multi.

Tyler, like Mr. Norris I also recommend the Inland Empire Real Estate Investment Club. A Great group of people and education, hope to see ya there at the end of this month. They do a market update at the start of the meeting that is really good. I see that you are in Barstow, an area with low prices but low economy too. I have looked their off and on for a while and though that if someone finds the path to making money out there they would do very good. Glad to have ya in SoCal.
@Aaron Norris, @Brian Grant Thanks for the recommendation! And Aaron, definitely correct in that this area is a completely different type of heat, ha.
Brian, I'm currently out at one of the military bases out there. I feel similar to you in the Barstow doesn't have much to offer, leading me to focus on the IE. I actually lived in downtown LA before I went to TX, so I'm vaguely familiar with the SoCal region.
