Than Merrill Workshop/Seminar

I am registered to attend today and I was wondering what to expect. I have always heard there’s a pitch to invest at the end and I’m sure I already know whatever they are going to tell us but I really am doing this for the networking aspect of it. Investors and future investors and one of the people I meet may turn out to be a business partner one day, who knows. I also love to hear how people present their hustle. Am I being presumptuous in thinking this will bring no other value than that? Please share.
