Could anyone recommend a good real estate attorney in Milwaukee, WI? Would prefer that the attorney own rental property as well. Thank you!

Tristan Pettit is one of the most well known lawyers in Milwaukee area that deals in landlord/tenant law.  He seems very good. Not sure if that is what you are looking for or if you want a lawyer who will deal with contracts, transactions, etc. If that's the case, maybe someone else from Milwaukee can provide a recommendation

Are you looking for an attorney to draft contracts or one to help with evictions?

@Andrew Banker

sounds like D.J. Grahl could meet your needs. He's not the cheapest but you get what you pay.

Thank you! Just getting started and need someone to draft LLC documents to get the LLC going (I'm well versed on the debate of the pros/cons of having an LLC). I'm more than willing to spend the $$ to get it set up properly. Also will probably want guidance on contracts and transitions as we get going. No need for eviction help (at this time). Appreciate the suggestions!

Hi @Andrew Banker, any luck finding an attorney in Milwaukee? If so, do you mind sharing? I'm looking for an out-of-state-investor friendly attorney to help me form an LLC in the state of Wisconsin. Thanks in advance!

I have used Michael Plum on several occasions, as have a few other members of BiggerPockets. Nothing but good things to say about him.

Feel free to message me for contact details.

Gregg Willich is a great guy! He actually has his real estate license as well. I've used him a few times, he's accessible, he's fair on pricing and has a bunch of free forms for landlords.
