Peter Vekselman and Joe McCall

Has anyone talked to these guys?  Peter Vekselman and Joe McCall?

I’m always interested in ways I can plug holes in my business and farm out the things that I am not best at.  So I looked into Peter Vekselman and Joe McCall at www.realestateinvestingmastery.com

I ran across Joe McCall on iTunes Podcast and I listened to a number of them. Joe is doing a great job networking and getting his name know in the “coaching” industry with his products.

What really interested me in Joe is his approach on “PARTNERING” with other successful investors and growing their business while splitting profits 50/50. He does marketing (that he is good at) in my market and we split the deals I close with him. This sounded interesting to me as "direct mail system" are not my strong suit.... so I submitted some information online.

This morning I got a call from Joe’s partner Peter Vekselman wanting to talk about how we can “work together”. I shared my real estate story/history and then he shared what they are good at and doing.

1. Marketing.

2. Long Term Investments

3. Wholesaling or Flips.

The conversation was all about their success and what they are "going to do for me". (half of which I don’t need and already have in place)... but he did not bother to ask!

About 10 minutes into the conversation he went into how this “partnering” is set up…

Pay them $15k upfront and $1000 a month.

After a little more talking he said “can you see yourself participating in this?” I simply replied… “No. If I had $15k to throw at marketing and another $1000 a month, I could hire a few people, saturate my market and keep 100% of the deals”. Peter quickly said… “well it’s not for you, have a good day.”

I was totally BLOWN-AWAY… end of conversation that quick!!

So the warring I share is biased on this… do these guys really want to partner or do they just want your $15k and $1000 month? Are they willing to talk with those that don’t just roll over and pay them?

I like partners that 1. communicate and 2. challenge my way of thinking to find a better result.

I would have been open to hearing more about the “partnering” but the very second I did not agree with Peter Vekselman the conversation ended.

This makes me sad and very frustrated at the same time for the new or vulnerable investor that "roll over"!

Doesn’t sound like anyone I would ever want to partner with.

Hope my experience might help someone else looking into these guys!

I contracted with Joe & Peter back in late 2014. Same deal paid them $15000.00 up front and $1000.00 per month plus the cost of mail. I had been flipping homes for many years and asked Joe and Peter to send 5000 cards every week but they said it was not necessary to send that kind of volume and I could expect a 7% response.  From the start it was a bad relationship. The "systems" that were to be set up in two weeks actually took several months and even then were never done correctly. Peter and Joe  were supposed to send 5000 post cards out for me every other week. Not one mailing ever went out on time every week it was a different excuse. Joe is impossible to reach by phone and in 3 months time I spoke to him once for about 1 minute which was a complete blow off. Once you wire the money to their company CH Holdings Peter stops answering calls - he does call back most every time but never offered any help and we never did any deals together. The weekly coaching calls do not offer any value. All calls I listened to all started with 10 minutes of Peter talking about how great he is and how his direct mail was getting a 10% response meanwhile the mail they were sending for me was getting less than 2%. Joe doesn't practice what he preaches on his podcasts he says answer your phones but the mail they did for me went straight to a voice mail number with a 4 minute recorded message. At one point Peter asked me my goals and I told him I wanted to do enough mail to consistently make $30,000.00 per month from wholesale sales and purchase 2-3 homes a month to fix and flip. Peter response was and I quote "your an idiot" you have no experience and do not have the staff to handle it. After that comment I never spoke to Joe or Peter again I cancelled my monthly subscription and started doing mail on our own. For $15,000 we did receive the following: list of cash buyers and real estate agents, zero value, Podio with full app suite value $50.00, 2 InvestorCarrot landing pages with spelling errors and incorrect phone numbers value Zero, 2 postcard designs value $50.00. Weekly group coaching calls qty 12 value Zero. You can save $15000 by subscribing to Joe podcast where he gives you all this "info" for free just shut off the last 10 minutes to avoid the "pitch" that comes at the end.
