Traveling nurses in the Poughkeepsie area?

John Pray
Posted

My wife and I are pre-approved for a home and have been considering house-hacking a multifamily in the Poughkeepsie area; potentially focusing on medium term rentals for traveling nurses.

We are hoping to hear from anyone that has experience on either the rental or renter side, along with recommendations on the most desired neighborhoods and amenities around the Poughkeepsie area.

Thanks in advance!

I like Poughkeepsie a lot. stay on the south side of the arterial 44/55. The town of Poughkeepsie is very nice also. Even city of Poughkeepsie isn't bad as an investment but I wouldn't want to live there. I own a few places in the city and town so there's my credibility lol.
