I Received an email from a Guru...what do you think?
I received this email from a "Guru":
"I met with a local wholesaler the other day to ask him how he's
dealing with this new competition for distressed properties. This
is exactly what he said ...
"Well it sucked at first. The funds were outbidding everyone at
the courthouse. Literally they were paying over retail, and they
still are. So I just figured out a different way to get the houses
they want and now I flip my deals all over to them. I flipped 45
houses to The Blackstone Group last month!"
How would you like to flip 45 houses a month to a group with
7 billion dollars to spend? As an added bonus they'll take them
sight-unseen and pay retail. Cash."
I wonder...how much of the above is truth and how much is exaggeration or BS?
Has anyone here have any experience selling houses to hedge funds?
If so, how do you contact one and establish a relationship with them?
Will hedge funds pay retail for houses or...this is pure BS?
It is BS until he can show you proof and you verify.

...I have heard that hedge funds are paying 110% of ARV...all they care about is the cash flow.
So you did receive my email. I wasn't sure, since I didn't see you sign up for the program :-)
BS until they provide proof
@Sharad M. , darn it - I knew it was you. :-)
Yeah, I figured if it came from the gurus, it's probably BS. I just want to know if others here on BP experienced selling to hedge funds before.
By the way, Sharad, I will see you in FL, right?
I am all booked and will be in FL on 16th and 17th. Look forward to meeting you.
