Would 50% be enough for a closer?

I find marketing far more enjoyable than sales. It's also where I have more experience. I was thinking about generating leads (through web and direct mail) and then giving the leads to an experienced closer.

What percentage would be enough to entice a good closer? Does 50% sound okay?
