Are you an investor looking to meet up with other investors? This is the group for you. We will be hosting these events every Third Thursday at the Mito Station, a Charlotte incubator for innovation located at 1431 Elizabeth Ave. There is an abundance of free parking behind the building, on the street, and in the large gravel lot across the street.
Whether you are a seasoned real estate investor or just starting out, you'll find like-minded individuals and real estate professionals who can help you start or grow your portfolios. This meetup is sponsored by Better Realty, a local real estate firm. Come have a drink and network with other investors, realtors, lenders and contractors to talk about what's going on in the market and how we can all help each other succeed in this business! Drinks and food will be provided!

@Matthew Murray I would not sell. Possibly cash out refi if the rate makes sense or get a HELOC while you are in it. You can always get Alcove rooms to manage it (rent by the room platform). You will get your time back and keep your solid asset.
Happy to chat further

I am also looking at Raleigh/Durham Triangle. Also Phoenix surrounding area.
Anyone has invested in these places please give us your most updated thoughts on these area.
Raleigh Durham is a great place to own property. Cash flow may be difficult without doing some value add or potentially doing a furnished rental or development. Happy to chat further about the area

Post: House or an apartment/condo/townhouse as your first rental?

Hi @Ana Franchi it can really depend on the area and numbers. With a condo/townhome you may have some rental restrictions or restrictions in general (which could also be true for a SFH subdivision community). The less bedroom the less room for rent $ growth even though the % may be the same. You also may have some maintenance taken care of in an HOA but you also don't have control over that HOA.
Happy to chat further as someone who invests in the triangle
