Hi @Ariel Gonzalez I host one that was last night that we do monthly in Durham. There are also two others in Raleigh that are pretty good. Typically posts are made on the events & meetups page for all of them

Most likely not but if you call enough people or maybe some local banks it's possible. Typically they want 2 years history

Come for a night of networking hosted by Better Realty. This meetup is at a current ground up development of 2 small lot homes and 2 duplexes in Durham.  Real estate investors, enthusiasts, and professionals are all welcome! Come network over beer and tacos at our newest project. Meet individuals that can help you achieve your real estate goals or learn how you can scale or just get started. Don't miss out!

Hi @Nicolas Riboni welcome to BP! Raleigh and the triangle is a great area to be in terms of real estate.

As far as your job prospects/interests I would probably keep your sales job and just try to find your first property one the side. You will learn a lot more and enjoy it a lot more. A lot of PM's get burnt out really fast unless they have great systems and a team.

To learn there are some great networking events both in Raleigh & Durham. Feel free to PM me and I'd be happy to chat too

Are you an investor looking to meet up with other investors? This is the group for you. We will be hosting these events every Third Thursday at the Mito Station, a Charlotte incubator for innovation located at 1431 Elizabeth Ave. There is an abundance of free parking behind the building, on the street, and in the large gravel lot across the street.

Whether you are a seasoned real estate investor or just starting out, you'll find like-minded individuals and real estate professionals who can help you start or grow your portfolios. This meetup is sponsored by Better Realty, a local real estate firm. Come have a drink and network with other investors, realtors, lenders and contractors to talk about what's going on in the market and how we can all help each other succeed in this business! Drinks and food will be provided!
