@Henry Clark Do you have a facility in the Bay Area? Curious how that’s been performing?
LA is a great market also. Just can’t do what others are doing. Analyzes that market also but the person never moved forward.

@Henry Clark and @Mordy Chaimovitz are spot on. These are key differences, but like everything else, once one gains experience in that space, these will just be part of doing business.

I echo what others have suggested above. Having a knowledgeable owner/partner is key. We arrange a ton of financing on self storage, so when the time is right for you, happy to line up your financing for you. Keep at it!

@Francis Mulla Just keep in mind that you’d be filling your taxes in two states; where you live and where your rental is.

@John Sullivan I had a terrible time experience with them, unfortunately. It was nearly impossible to get my money out. Got the run around for about 6-7 months. Let’s just say ultimately they didn’t give me back my funds WILLINGLY! I’d be careful of that. But I did get the interest payments regularly and the staff that work for Jan have good intentions. Seems like Jan is the ultimate decision maker and is guess most of the issues with getting back my funds were in his hands.
