Welcome back to northern Kentucky Paul Ritter . I would recommend starting with the most basic of tasks when new to this market. Drive for dollars and get familiar with the area. As a fellow agent and investor, I'd be glad to meet up with you to share some tips on what locations are best for flip, buy and hold, and what areas are more difficult.

Hey Kelly, I went to my first one today. The process was about what I thought it would be and there I feel like some folks got some deals. How did this go for you? 

I was also able to network with some folks there and get the names of other investors inthe area who may have some apartment buildings for sale.

An investor friend of mine rented his 3/2 split level with garage for 1200+. Renter has been there for 3.5 years. That house would sell today for 130-140k. Great prices for the return.

Walton is definitely an area of opportunity. Many buyers look there for quality schools. The trade off are the somewhat higher taxes compared to the rest of Boone County. Feel free to call me.

Max & Brandon hit the nail on the head. Brandon knows that market well. It's a nice little community and appreciation is slow but stable.
