Rising interest rates have pushed investors to explore more creative strategies such as Single-Room-Occupancy. While not a new concept, technology-enabled management companies such as PadSplit have helped investors take on this option, allowing single family residences to multiple tenants on a room-by-room basis. he problem? Many (if not all) of current DSCR Lenders and their capital partners are hesitant to lend on these properties, even if the investment is solid.
