Hey Aedon- getting started young definitely gives you a leg up. I agree with what @Julien Jeannot said, REI meetups are a great place to start and get rooted in the landscape of REI. Not sure where you're located, but that should definitely help you as you start your journey.
Hi - DSCR Loans do not work for house hacking because they strictly prohibit anyone from living in the property, have to be 100% investment properties only.

Hi Ashley- welcome! You've definitely come to the right place. It sounds like you're doing really well for yourself. I've learned and grown so much from reading through the content on BP and the community is fantastic.
If you can, I would suggest going to in-person meetup events for more direct guidance and for advice from those that have been in your shoes. There are also plenty of great books (one on STRs that I really like is https://store.biggerpockets.com/products/short-term-rental-l...) that can help you understand the ins and outs of REI.

Just posted something similar in someone else's thread asking the same question but I will always recommend these two books. One is all about the ins and outs of BRRRR investing and the other is a seminal text on STRs and how to operate one. Both are great if you're looking to build a real estate portfolio and don't know where to start!
