Hi Whitney, welcome to BP :) I agree, for the most part, with those that have commented here. Now is the time for growth in understanding. Just because you don't have the capital to begin right this second doesn't mean that you have to sit around until you do. You can begin to isolate what strategy you want to enact and then create a plan to get there.
Definitely don't underestimate the value of networking with those in the market that you choose to invest in. If you spend your time getting to know the ins and out of your market, you will definitely be ready to strike when the time (and capital) comes!

Hey Elliot- there are some great meetups in our city!
Here is a great networking group that members of our team frequent: https://austinrenc.com/networking-club/?gclid=CjwKCAjwv-2pBh...
This group requires a membership but it a great resource: https://reiaaustin.com/
Hey Trisha- we're happy to have you here! It can definitely feel like a lot at first given the sheer amount of (sometimes contradictory) information out there, but these forums are a great place to ask questions and start forming your own specific goals. Assembling a team is a must and BP is the perfect place to find people to support you.
I also think that, if it's something that is accessible to you, going to REI meetups can be immensely helpful. Talking face-to-face to people with real-world experience and expertise is a shortcut to getting ahead.
This is great- it's definitely easy to get stuck in a spiral in this industry. Thanks for sharing!
Hey D'Andre- DSCR loans can be used to finance acquisitions through an LLC. Otherwise, you're correct, conventional loans can't be used if you decide to push forward with forming a partnership.

Hi Pradyumna, alternative financing may be a great route for you if you're looking to pick up the pace in your investment ventures. DSCR financing is based on the cash-flow potential of the property, and there are ways to scale quickly utilizing this method of financing. Will DM!
Post: Real Estate Investing in 2023: Medium Term Rentals - The Sweet Spot for Investors

In 2023, Medium Term Rentals (MTRs) have emerged as a game-changing trend in real estate investing. This strategy, combining elements of short-term and long-term rentals, has gained popularity among investors, offering increased cash flow without the regulatory hassles and high turnover of short-term rentals. However, the lending industry has been slower to adapt to MTRs, lacking specialized tools for qualification. However, at Easy Street Capital we use forward-thinking and provide flexible and ultra-competitive terms to get deals closed for our investors!
