@Taylor Roeling thanks, I'm super excited to be my own boss (I do have to answer the owners). I 100% agree communication is very important. My last pm was horrible at that. I hope that my background as a property owner will help me be a great pm.

@Karl B. There is another guy on YouTube called Graham Stephen (I think) he also started young. He once said in a video that he showed all the rentals b/c none of the other agents wanted to. Wait 2 or 3 years these renters now needs homes and the reached out to him......

Good luck.

@Steve Rozenberg thanks for the advice, greatly appreciated. Would you suggest any books to get started?

I think the way one looks at the industry(read fees) is very different if your coming from a real estate agent perspective or an real estate investor perspective.

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking into opening up a property management company in Cleveland Ohio. I would like to hear from property owners what they like and dislike about their current pm, so I can implement and create the best service for my future clients. All advice is good advice. Thanks in advance.

Keep money for the lock, however if no proof on the damage of the floors, definitely not worth it - she may take you to court and that is a huge headache you dont want to deal (read $$$$) with.

@Chad Brey

What do you mean you love being the bank? How do you find investors? How much due diligence do you do for each deal?

Thanks
