Vikram,
Yeah people have been using containers for offices and etc for a really long time, Im finally glad to see that with the market being the way it is that people are realizing that not only are shipping containers stronger but the costs is tremendously lower then building with regular materials. Even though I had this post about using shipping containers as storage...my primary idea is using them for housing.

A lady was on the news here, she used several containers and built a neat home overlooking a river out of containers (sided of course and roofed). One was cantilevered out over a steep hillside. They are also used as camps. Lots of uses I guess. Good luck

Bill,
Im sure I shouldnt say this but yes I am a very crazzy guy haha, I use to think that sticking to high risk deals were the best ones (Boy did I learn and dont know what I was thinking). Yeah I think a lot of people/counties believe that I was gonna keep the "Container look" and that probably freaks them out but yes they should all be sided and roofed with modern/eco looks. (Ecoclad is a great product).

Hopefully, I can eventually find the right location and get the ball rolling. Thanks for everyones support.

Diane,
This is a very nice home, and right up my alley of what I plan on doing later on.

Bryan,
Where can I find info on the BP syndication group?

What do you mean a sponsor in the form of a GP?

I dont know if I would compare it to stock investing clubs but yeah with partnerships and joint ventures.

Well every RE investment club (people who pool money together for RE investments) should always go with a business entity but Im asking how come more people arent doing this. From what I read this was popular in the 70's & 80's when mortgages were much tougher to get. Aren't we in that same situation right now? Are RE investment clubs a thing of the past or do they cause to much disagreement??
