Doing something a little different this month.

Steve Jones of Better Shelter will be hosting us at his newly finished flip project in Atwater Village.

If you don’t know Steve….check out his interview on the BP Podcast episode 173

Steve will be there to answer questions and walk through some of his processes.

With over 100+ flips under his belt you know he’s got systems in place.

Same as always for our meet ups, these are NO SALES events. (I mean….this time there’s a house for sale if you’re in the market) BUT... no pitches to get you into a bootcamp or to sign up with a guru.

Come out, meet new people, learn from others, share your knowledge and be part of the community.

Feel free to bring your friends along.

Make sure to follow Steve on BP and check out Better Shelter on IG @bettershelter

See you then!!!

Thurs March 26th - 7:30-9:30pm

Happy New Year. Hope everyone had some good down time and are back to the swing of things.

Going to do the first meet-up of the year on the 30th. Come out and fill everyone in on your RE plans for 2020.

We’re going to be at the same place this time and I have something extra special planned for Feb.

Come out to this one and I’ll tell you about it ;-)

Again, no sales at these. Come make connections and chat about RE. Lots of new stuff happening this year.

Feel free to bring your friends.

@Daniel Graves sewer might be extra if it's on the down slope. i think they have to install a pump system in that case. I was able to tie my sewer into the mainline from my house. Not sure if that's an option for you.

Running the gas line wasn't a huge deal for us, it was a decent amount of trenching but finding out if your main gas line is big enough to run both houses could be problematic. (if it's not they have to run a larger pipe from the street and that gets pricey) Luckily ours was fine because we have the ductless AC units.

@Daniel Graves gotcha. It was a garage conversion but added about 170 sqft. Once permits were in hand it went relatively smoothly. Gas company was the biggest pain so I'd start on the utilities as early as you can. (Especially if you're going to split them) Happy to chat sometime. Feel free to shoot me a DM anytime.
