Welcome! What's the Pleasanton market like @Nick Zocher?

Beware the drunken mess that may result in your home!

As many of us know, it's an unfortunate incident that happened, and something that nobody can really take into account. Is it something us investors can prepare for?

Anyways, I'm wondering how you guys are doing, and if there are any lessons to be learned from an investor homeowner POV with this state of emergency?

I'm looking for recommendations (or just can be you) or investor & buyers real estate agents in the following areas.

Sacramento, Fresno, and Stockton.

I'm planning on taking some trips to these places in the following month, and would like to meet up with an agent, or even just people investing in these areas, and explore places!

Screenshot below. I'm using Android Nexus 5 with mobile Chrome. Not sure where else to post this issue.

@Nicholas Varner, what was the name of your company? Did it make over 50 billion in revenue a year? I'm not saying the reign of Google and Facebook will last forever, but as @Arlen Chou states, it would be an extremely large feat for these companies to hoist up and leave the area.

San Francisco will always be a desired place to build a technology company, whether it be silicon semiconductors or web services. Look at the two schools that are nearby, UC Berkeley and Stanford. These are top tier schools that are always pushing research and students to do the next best thing in entrepreneurship.

@Alice K., have you looked in areas like Sacramento or Fresno? Maybe Salinas?

There's a lot more to California than the San Francisco Bay Area.

@Ali Boone, do you feel that way about Fresno or Salinas? Sacramento?

CA is a large place. I agree it's probably hard to cash flow in LA or SF area, but there's a lot more to CA than those two that people still live in.

@Jason Bott

Thanks for your answer! Pretty conclusive on the basic coverage for landlord policy.

For properties that need Flood insurance, will my agent/MLS/seller be kind enough to notify me of such things? I'd probably find out with due diligence, but just in case I miss something, would be good to know someone would inform me.

@Stephen Akindona

Thanks!

I think instead of "Rental insurance" I meant Landlord insurance. Sorry!
