@Andrew N. - We're just getting things started & hosting the weekly work sessions right now and looking to add more events as we grow the community. Right now we're looking to build a critical mass (~10) full time coworkers as fast as we can.
The vision is similar to a next space or sandbox suites, but focused on real estate. Since we're based out of a real estate office, it would be a natural fit for a number of people. Investors, Architects, Financial Planners, Insurance, Contractors, Inspectors...etc. If you're interested in concept, you should join the MeetUp group & try to make one of our work sessions. - www.meetup.com/East-Bay-Real-Estate-Coworking/
Outside of that, if you're ever in Berkeley, I'm always up for meeting for a cup of coffee.

Hey Bay Area BP members, we've been hosting regular afternoon Coworking sessions at our community work space in North Berkeley and we'd love to have you join us.
Here's some more information along with a link to the MeetUp event for this Thursday's Coworking Session.
If you're new to the concept of Coworking, here's a quick video to check out that explains the concept along with a few of its benefits - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le0dfcG_jVw
We encourage you come and to invite a friend or two that might want to come join us.

Its super simple: bring your laptop, grab an open spot, and get to work-- and don't forget to say hello to your neighbor!
What you should expect:
-Get your work done in a cozy but professional environment
-Make a new friend or two
-Have an awesome time
Itinerary
12:00: The work session begins! Get here whenever you like, but the earlier the better.
1:00: We'll be heading out for lunch. The work space is located inside a real estate office in a great area with lots of food options nearby. This is a great opportunity for people to get to know each other and learn more about what everyone's working on.
4:00: We'll call it a day and break out some wine, cheese & some appetizers and hang out.
If you're interested in joining us for this event, or future events, join the meetup group and you'll get pinged about any future events.

Hi @Andrew N. ! I'm in the Bay Area as well. Live in Marin, but do business mostly in the East Bay. Besides putting together real estate deals, I'm building a real estate coworking community in Berkeley and we host open work days on Thursday afternoons. If you're interested, we'd love to have you join us sometime.

Sorry, looks like we're going to skip the hangout for tonight. We'll probably start late and its going to keep me from being present to those who made it out. We'll try to do a hangout sometime when we aren't meeting in person.

Welcome @Elijah LeClair !
I live in Marin and do business primarily in the East Bay. We sold a lot of REOs during the downturn and now I'm focused on investing. Mainly wholesaling.
Feel free to send a colleague request and I'll do what I can to help out.

Hi @Michaela G. ! Always good to see more Bay Area BP members.
I live in Marin, but work primarily in the East Bay. Probably a little late notice, but we're holding a BP Meetup in Berkeley tonight. (Shame on me for not checking all of my forum alerts)
Don't worry if you can't make it tonight, we're looking to make this a monthly thing.
