A proxy bid i know from dealing with Auto sales online auction. It will increase your bid in increments UP to your maximum bid, so if it raises in say increments of 2k and the highest bid is 10k your proxy bid would be 12k

Was wondering if any RE agents in MD have also handled there own wholesale deals and if so any obstacles you have come across. I have a few wholesale opportunities coming my way and Im trying to figure if I should use a partner to work the wholesale deals which will of course cut in on my profits or talk to my broker and work them on my own.
