Hi Vikas Kumar I have been investing in Rochester for sometime now. Never really looked into student housing even though we are surrounded by them. Your post has me thinking now if student housing is more profitable then regular b/c towns. Thanks Aqil

Welcome Enyi Ajoku to BP community. I have been investing in Rochester for sometime now and the cash on cash return is great. Sounds like you are a little picky with buying your first investment. Although that is great, remember that this is strictly a rental investment and the emotions attached to this shouldn't be the same to as if you were buying a house in which you would be living yourself. I generally look at the location, general condition of the house, and most important the numbers. Go ahead and dive in- you will do just fine. Reach out to me if you have any questions. Good luck!
