Hi Dan, Try Adam Dressler. The website is dresslerfirm.com. The forum won't let me include an email.
His firm does most areas of RE, litigation, etc. If he can't do it, he will have someone to refer you to.
Good Luck.

I am in a similar position, only I have capital and a poor memory. I looked on my own for a few months but didn’t have much success. I am looking for a few people with some experience in the northeast to join in on a few deals to start. As you continue to build your network and educate yourself I am sure you will find where you fit in.

Most of those calls are for cash advances with interest well over 35%. They will typically lend only a percentage of your monthly business revenue. I work in business lending and I get those calls all day long. Please be careful with any cold calls offering you business funding. There are a lot of shady characters out there.

I am fairly new to this as well. I find the markets around us to be pretty competitive. Have you looked outside of the area? PA, CT, RI?

@Devin DiMartini what areas of NJ are you looking into?
Why do people choose this house hacking method to start instead of finding a larger property with a few investors? Is it more about resources and network, or are the economics better for someone that is just starting out?

@Garrett Leahigh how good of a deal is the 6 unit? Is it worth it to bring in an additional investor?
