Quote from @Chris Seveney:
I consider any page on the internet that is hooked up to a domain name a website or web page. Landing pages can be a one-page website. I might be looking at it differently.

Lots of options for website builders. Things to consider:

1- How techie are you? All of the website builders work a bit differently so some of it comes down to personal preference. Doing a free trial or money back within 30 days might be good to see if you like the platform.

2- The advantage to using Carrot is that the pages are built out specifically for the real estate industry and just need to be customized and personalized to you and your market. If you decide you like another website builder, you will need to create these pages and content yourself.

3- Do some competitive research for your market. Which sites are winning the seo war when you search in google? What are they doing well? What can you do better? What are they missing? How are they showing their credibility? Written content? Photos? Videos? This is so important.

4- Some platforms let you build pages, some let you build landing pages which are really just web pages that are designed for specific keyword phrases and sometimes don't include navigation menus to keep your leads from clicking to another page on your website. Landing pages are great for running ppc (google pay per click) to measure conversions.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize you are investing out of state.

I have 3 recommendations for you:

1. Check out the BiggerPockets local meetups here: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521

2. Check out the local meetups on meetup.com

3. Google local meetups in your area

Hi Ashley and welcome!

In terms of finding funding, BiggerPockets just released a video yesterday talking about this called NEW LOW Down Payment Mortgages Are Here (Put Just 1% DOWN) which might help.

@Liam Naughton mentioned house hacking which is a great strategy. BiggerPockets has a video talking about this strategy here

You might also consider doing a joint venture (jv) with someone in your local area who can help you through the process.

Congratulations on finding an investor who's supportive and has been helping you learn to run numbers and evaluate deals. These are very beneficial investing skills.

I agree with Jerryll that credibility is very important. People need confirmation that are trustworthy, do what you say you will do, and are easy to work with. People google everything including the reputations of people and businesses.

Attending in person REIA meetings and classes is a great way to network and learn more about how the investors in your area are doing business. This includes creating a buyers list of what these investors consider a good deal.

You are off to a great start!

Hi @Alexander King,

Just to help you get the answer you are looking for, are you:

1- Looking for someone to build you out a custom crm?

2- Or are you looking for someone to do a custom buildout of the crm you are currently using? If yes on option 2, what crm are you currently using?

3- Or something different?

4- Looking for someone local or remote?

Thanks for your help with this.

Quote from @Zach Kirkton:

 Hi Beth,

1. Yes the traffic has increased to my site for the keywords we are targeting

2. Yes, I do have a Google business profile

3. https://www.essentialequityrealestate.com/

4. Yes they are real estate investor specific

Hi Zach and thanks for this.

1- Do you have the ability to do split testing on your site? I'm wondering if you will get more people to fill out the form if there are fewer questions. Is this a 2-part form?

2- Can you link out to your google 5 star reviews? You have 9 of them which is great. Make it easy for people to confirm the claims that are on your site.

I recommend creating a Google Business Profile for your new business. This is free to do and is how you can show up in the map pack search results on google. This is especially helpful for your local market.

You might also consider creating a website so people can find your business when they search online.

Are there other businesses in your local area you can partner with that are in car repair or car upgrades? Maybe after market car painters who can recommend your services to their customers and you can recommend their services to your customers?

Hi Zach, I'm sorry to hear you are spending all that money and not getting any leads. I have a few questions for you:

1. Has the traffic increased to your site for the various keywords you are targeting?

2. Do you have a Google Business Profile for your business? This is free.

3. Can you post a link to your site so I can take a look?

4. Is the seo company real estate investor specific or general seo?
