Hello Fellow BP Members,
I first want to say that this community has been extremely helpful in my short time as a member! I look forward to doing the same for new members in the future!
As a new investor looking to flip houses in the Maryland area I am strongly considering getting my real estate licenses. Does anyone has any recommendation as to which brokerage or agencies might be best for a real estate investor. The real estate license that I'm looking to obtain will be specifically for flipping houses. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!

@Chris Seveney I could probably do about $10,000 to $15,000 down. Looking for distressed properties around $150,000 to $180,000.

Hello All!
I'm looking for a small bank that lends their own money as opposed to getting the money from Freddie, Fannie, or some other large institution for flipping purposes. According to J.Scott's Book on Flipping Houses these portfolio lenders are best for new real estate investors. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can find a portfolio lender in the DMV??
