Hey everyone,

So I was just curious about how residential investment firms do multiple deals a week. How do they do it? I mean, how do they find so many qualified homes in such a short amount of time? Is it mostly the firm owner's money being invested? Hopefully I posted this in the correct forum and I'm sorry if I didn't.

Thanks a bunch for your responses,

-Brandt

Why didn't you start last year??? Just playin, I think it's GREAT that you are learning about it.  My advise to you is 1- don't ruin your credit.  Too many young people do stupid things and hurt themselves for decades.  2- Don't forget to learn about basic plumbing, electrical, roofs.... I'm not saying you should want to fix the roof of your 40th property when you're 35, but you should know what kind of work it requires so contractors don't screw you.

GOOD JOB!

Thank you very much! I completely agree about credit. So many teens nowadays don't really understand what credit is and thus get themselves into trouble.

Great to see you getting into this at your age, hope your learning a lot out there - wish I had learned more about REI when I was your age. I would ask, why wait to start your investment group until after you graduate? You may want to consider trying to find a way to work on building it while doing your studies, it may even help, or be used, as project in some business courses you might take.

As I am finding - its no time like the present to get started!

Thanks! I will definitely look into what it takes to start a business.

Hey everyone, my name is Brandt. I am 17 years old and currently just taking my first steps into the real estate investment world. I am interning with @Joe Homs and learning some the in's and out's of real estate. When I graduate college, I wish to start my own investment group and take it to new heights.
