I also agree with @Jamie Bateman about Joshua Andrews book. It has some great break downs in the back that will really help you process the evaluation and strategies used in note investing.

That and learning how to use the correct calculator are key to doing it right. He also breaks that down in earlier chapters.

Another source of knowledge is Dave Van Horn's book that I think you can buy here on Bigger Pockets. If not you can find it on Amazon. It has some really great creative financing ideas and examples as well - great on mindset.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks,

Bob

 Hello Bob,

We're doing a big mix of things. We're attending conferences to get exposure, running paid traffic in different networks, very active in social networks and using saved searches to send updates.

I've got the asset you have listed and am starting to do some promotion so that it can get some traction. Our goals are to do our best to help you move assets. :)

I respect and understand what you are saying, and I will use paperstac again since eventually I did like the platform and it is user friendly.

If I may suggest something - If you compare it to ebay, why not giving the buyers the ability to rate the sellers?

It will help buyers to sort and choose sellers which are more reliable and with higher service level.

That is a great suggestion and something I will bring up today. We've got some features now for people to blacklist other users, we can see from that which users aren't playing nice. Currently, that only helps us keep an eye out for bad actors or someone trying to do malicious acts.

I think a rating system similar to eBay is an excellent idea. Once that is live I will reach back out on this thread and let you know about it.

Thanks for responding and I hope to see you back on the site. :)

Keep up the good work @Brett Burky!

Thanks so much Gil. We're always making updates based on user feedback. Just had one that went through this morning on maturity dates being extended. If you see something that you think would improve it and make your experience better, we're always open. :)

 Hello Jamie,

I think I know the one you're talking about. You're right they do slip through. We're doing our best to mitigate that. I personally want to have it as an option because investors want it.

Can we sell CFD's on paperstac?

 Hello Chris,

We're working on it. We're getting set up with someone that Daniel Singer has suggested we talk to and hope to have that as an option soon. We're conquering the Partials play first and that should be done in the near future.

Basically, you'll be able to purchase a note and then have the option to list the partial right after to recapitalize and do it again.

I am working with other web sites.

Hello Eran,

I am sorry to hear about your experience. The system is an open platform so it is not one seller that has all of the assets on the platform. So if you didn't like dealing with that one seller there are many more on the platform.

Think of it like eBay, just because you had a  bad experience with one seller, you shouldn't write off the entire system. Those sellers that give bad service, usually don't sell assets and since we have expiration dates on listings, their listings expire and they leave.

We are always looking for feedback and there is a way to contact support if you feel one of the sellers isn't giving you the courtesy you deserve.

We hope to have you back on and have the ability to have a great experience with another seller.

@Patrick Sweeting is there an easy way to do Probate searches online or is that still something you've got to head to the county to get?

There are still other options in town. They've opened their new version as of now.
