@Brian Flannery we invest in Kirby and Converse in SFH slab houses and are always looking for more!

Thanks! I've seen quite a few things starting to pop up in Kirby. I actually grew up in Converse.

Quote from @Rick Pozos:

Hey @Brian Flannery what meetings do you go to currently??

I have one, @Todd Nurnberger has BREW(Boerne Real Estate netWorking)

@Manaia Alalamua has the Almost Friends group

There is also Alamo Investors, SAREIA, HBHS and a bunch others. I will see you out there. I will be the nerdy looking guy with the shirt that says Frugal Real Estate Guy.

Rick, I just found the SAREIA group.  I will reach out to the others you mentioned and will definitely see you around.

I’m in the military and recently moved to San Antonio, TX. A few years ago, I started on my real estate journey - bought a duplex, had great success with it, then life happened. Anyways, now I’m looking to kickstart my real estate investing journey again, but this time here in San Antonio and surrounding areas. I hope to establish a network here in the San Antonio and Austin areas, so if there are any investors in the area, or any meetups I may not know about, please let me know!! Thanks.

@Amy W. I’d extend her the invitation to renew. All you’re really dealing with is the annoyance of having to remind her. She pays you the same day she receives the notice; at the end of the day, you’re just getting a few extra bucks in your pocket at her expense.

@Jeremy Mangen welcome to the boards.  I'm a newbie myself, but the members here have been nothing but helpful.  I, too, am a powerlifter, but I couldn't dance to save my life.

Good luck!
