I believe if you have a lease agreement in place on the current property, you can occupy another with the VA loan. Ive been thinking about buying another property with my VA loan and from what I can gather you either have to:

1-Satisfy the first loan.

or

2-Show that there are tenants in place with a lease agreement.

Double check, but hope this helps.

Does anyone have any experience in the Fort Bragg area with rentals? I am in the Military and dont know if I want to start building my empire around the Military base, or in Myrtle Beach (my hometown).

My name is Chance and I love the thought of owning multiple rental properties. I am really glad I found this website, Ive found many topics that I had questions about already. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan, I own one rental property and I own my primary residence in Fort Bragg NC. My dream is to own 10 rental properties one day so that when I transition out of the Military my lifestyle does not have to change.

I have many questions and hope to network with all of you. I was always told by my mentors coming up, that you should surround yourself with people that are successful. Well I think this website is a great start for me!
