Hey @Errin M. Ford,
Bigger Pockets actually has a recommend list of property management companies on their site that I think you would find helpful. You can find this list in Property Management under the Tools tab. I'd suggest checking out what BP has recommended and see if any of them will fit your needs as a landlord!
Best of luck to you & Happy Holidays!

Hi @Lana Wilcox!
I think you would find BP's list of recommended property management companies helpful. You can find this list by going to the Tools tab and choosing Property Management. I'd suggest taking a look at these and see which company/software would best fit your needs.
Best of luck to you!
Hi @Ernie G.!
Different landlords have different preferences when it comes to credit/background checks. We've found that some landlords prefer to collect the application & fee then run the check themselves, while others would like the applicant to directly complete the check. Either way, all tenant screenings are soft pulls on the applicants credit (this was changed in summer of 2020)
Whether you would like tenant involvement or not is completely up to you and what works best for your landlording systems. Cheers!

Hi @Joseph Careri & @Beverly Borchers!
I would recommend checking out the Landlord Resources tab for this! You can find the landlord resources tab under the Tools tab on the main menu here. It might help to look through these and choose a company that would best fit your screening needs. Some companies also offer free forms and other resources for landlords.
Also Brandon Turners book is highly recommend so you are in good hands there!

Post: Detecting fake paystubs

Hi @Lisa K.,
Unfortunately providing fake pay stubs is something that we experience in the rental industry and although there is not a way to be certain they are fake, there are ways to avoid this situation through other means of verification. Bigger Pockets has recommend tenant screening companies if you go to the Tools tab and then click on Landlord Resources. Some companies offer verification services so that you can be sure the results you are receiving are 100% accurate. I'd recommend checking out some of these companies and see if they would be a good fit for your needs as a landlord.
Best of luck to you!
