Hi @Dolores Gonzalez!

Bigger Pockets offers tenant screening through a trusted partner. They have two options depending on what you are looking for; a tenant involvement and a no tenant involvement package. You can find further information by going to Tenant Screening under the Tools tab.

Best of luck to you!

Hi @Vinh Nguyen!

Bigger Pockets actually offers tenant screening through a trusted partner. You can check this out in Tenant Screening under the Tools tab. There are two options available depending on what you are looking for; a tenant involvement and a no tenant involvement package.

Also, all tenant screening inquiries were changed to soft pulls as of July 2020 so whether or not a credit check is a hard or soft pull is not something you will need to be concerned about as they should all be soft pulls.

Best of luck to you!

Hi @Troy F.,

Bigger Pockets recommends some companies under Property Management in the Tools tab that offer free forms and resources for landlords! I'd recommend checking this out to see if you can find what you are looking for!

Hi @Lisa McClease-Kelly,

Bigger Pockets offers tenant screening through a trusted partner! There is a tenant involvement package which includes a tenant pay option as well as a no tenant involvement package. If you visit Tenant Screening under the Tools tab you can view further information :)

Happy Landlording!

Hi @MarieChele Porter!

You have a lot of useful answers above. To answer your question about screening applicants without an SSN.. yes you can! Without the SSN you wont be able to run a credit check but you can still run a background check. Bigger Pockets offers tenant screening through a trusted partner which includes a background check that can do this. You will want to visit Tenant Screening under the Tools tab for further information.

Best of luck to you!

Hi @Griffin Abel!

Bigger Pockets has recommended companies under the Tools tab in Property Management that I'd recommend checking out! Some companies offer free forms as resources that are editable to your specific needs... it may be less of a headache to find a editable PDF form that you could send to the applicant or use the trusty paper application.

Also, BP offers tenant screening through a trusted partner in Tenant Screening under the Tools tab!

Hope you find what you are looking for!

Hi @MarieChele Porter!

I am not familiar with that service but Bigger Pockets does offer tenant screening through a trusted partner. You can find this by choosing Tenant Screening under the Tools tab. There are two packages that you can choose from based on your tenant screening needs.

Hi @Dalyn Hazell,

I'd recommend checking out the other screening companies listed here on BP that offer more than instant reports. If you go to the Tools tab and click Property Management, you will be brought to a page of recommend screening/property management companies. If you know that your applicant has no credit then there is really no point in pulling a credit check, so I would recommend a screening that is simplified to background information (criminal, evictions, address history, etc.)

Hi @Orwin Smith!

Bigger Pockets has a list of recommend screening companies right here on their site! You can find this by clicking Property Management under the Tools tab. I'd suggest checking these out and see which would best fit your screening needs.

Best of luck to you!
