The waterfall wall is amazing! The other paintings that give the illusion of bigger rooms are amazing. And the second story forest walls from floor and including the ceiling are amazing. And the mix of stone floors and hardwood floors is amazing. Other than those things, there is too much stone. I do appreciate the dedication and creativity of the owner!

Welcome Jennifer!

I am new to the site, too and have learned so much already!  I would spend 2 hours per day reading here if I could!

I listen to the podcasts during my commute every day, and they have been wonderful!

I also recommend to look into meetup.com to find real estate investment groups in your area so that you can meet local investors face to face.

Enjoy!

Cheryl

I have found that Redfin and realtor.com are great internet sites to get numbers for recently sold houses. With those numbers, you can estimate a price by using the most recent sales data within 1/4 mile of the property and of similar size.

Wow, that website from Larry Weingarten has lots of stuff!  I am impressed with my first time perusing it right now.

Thank you!

I am a Bay Area beginning investor.  Nice to know that it is possible here in Northern CA!  I look at the prices of homes in Kentucky, Missouri, Florida and think, how am I ever going to start buying rental property here with homes 10 times the prices from the midwest.

Nice to see that others are investing here and succeeding!

Hi I have heard that Zillow is not a good resource to use for property valuation. But I still use it to get an idea on property values. I also use Redfin, but it has different metrics than Zillow does. What is your perspective on these websites? Thank you! Cheryl
