I'm a wholesaler in Chicago as well. Just completed my first deal on the southwest side.

How do you find your deals?

There are some wholesalers in your area that you can network with on BP about the market @Sherrice Baines and @Shara Carlton to name a couple.

Definitely get to a REIA meeting near you for networking with cash buyers asap. It's a valuable resource for education and bouncing ideas off of others.

@Brie Schmidt and @George Foster 's group in Chicago is stellar. I've been twice and it's all good people willing to share their experiences and help each other. Great networking. No pitching or selling courses.

Welcome @Jonathan Wheeler !

Definitely get involved with a local REIA group. The one @Brie Schmidt puts together is Top Notch. As a wholesaler you'll want to build a solid network of cash buyers, preferably before you even start looking for deals. I will make your life easier to have a buyer in mind when you find a deal.
