I'm glad you called @George Foster for his expert opinion. He checked out my first deal as well and gave it his stamp of approval. 

He knows what he's talking about and is always willing to help newbies even when there isn't necessarily a financial benefit for him. That's just who he is.

Thanks @Anil Samuel . At the time of this deal, the ONLY method of lead generation I had was door-to-door flyers in my farm area. I personally like the idea of choosing a farm area (at least to start) and becoming a "big fish in a smaller pond" where your marketing dollars go further and people in the area begin to think of you when they're ready to sell. 

Thanks @Larmon Cummings Jr and congrats on doing your first wholesale deal! Can you share the details of it? We can all learn something from each other's successes (and sometimes failures!)
