Nate welcome to Cincinnati!  What part of town do you live in now? Might be too soon to ask the question, but what part of town are you tying to invest in?

East side of Cincinnati not too far from where I live now.  Plan on living in the building 1-3 years as I work on expanding my portfolio.

Does anyone have experience with apartment size tankless electric water heaters?  I know because of our hard water in Cincinnati you definitely need a water softener attached.  Who do you recommend for these services?

Does anyone have a recommendation for insurance companies on a 4 family?

 What made me pull the trigger was finally finding the right property for me.  It is a 4 family. There is also a basement apartment, where I will live.  Have a great team in place for minor rehab.  Lucky to have connections through work to get cheap materials from our suppliers.  I will most likely post progress pictures as I get to work.

Just got my first investment property under contract.  This will also be my first home!  Thanks to BP! I have learned a lot from this site and now am ready to get started building a portfolio.  Fingers crossed for inspections on Thursday... looking forward to working on the units.  My goal was to purchase my first investment property by my 24th birthday and I achieved my goal with 2 days to spare!  Now the real fun starts...  Look forward to connecting with more BP members as this journey begins.   

Hey BP!  Does anyone own rental property in Silverton.  If so, send me a message.  I have a few questions for you. 

Rental property owners do you have rents automatically drawn out of your tenants checking/savings accounts?  Or what other methods or apps do you use?  Working on my first buy and hold right now.  Thanks for your help.  Learning more and more everyday on this site!
