@Sherman Dunn what type of financing are you pursuing? I used Commercial lending and they did allow me to use my HELOC for the downpayment. Might be time to find a new bank!

@Brock Simmons one of my partners is 23 years old @Logan Fast and he is a hustler. Age does NOT Matter. I was just at a conference in Nashville and one of the speakers was 24 years old, he was able to raise $2mil in 24 hours for a $10mil syndication deal, anything is possible. Find deals and bring them to those who have resources. Also stay educated and provide value any which way you can. Get you real estate license, start working for a property management company, whatever it takes. Best of luck!

@Sheila Rao Atlas Shrugged, beyond being an amazingly detailed story, really highlights that providing value is the true goal. Hard work cannot be replaced with laws, policies and handouts. Thanks for reading!

@Mitchell Litam thank you for the kind words. It is imperitive that you find a strong "why". This may sound cliche but it is true. I had to reach a low point of realizing that my life/potential was going to be wasted pursuing a paycheck and promotions. Real estate is very similar to exercise you need dedication, repetition, and a solid diet (education). The fact that you are on BP at the age  of 29 means you are way ahead of most. Keep working towards your goals!

@Brian Ellis there is going to be a lot of noise, some of the worst is what we internalize. I had a lot of self doubt (and still do) about what I am doing. You are immediately standing out from the crowd, this is  a good thing, those people dislike their jobs and choose to not do anything about it. I began everyday listening to BP podcasts before I went to the gym (exercise is a great way to push out the naysayers). Also I tried to find like minded people and have discussions with them, do not waste your time trying to convince others, let your actions speak for you. Also you will begin to find that there are many people that have similar dreams and aspirations, they just likely aren't currently working with you (but some maybe are!). Keep up the great work and believe in yourself!

@Jerry W. My systems are ok, rather I have to give credit to the individuals I work with as well as proper tenant screening. I also have great partners. Reach out anytime to discuss in more detail.
