@Jared Bouzek - I will be working on the finance team doing many different things. In particular, I will be helping track the financials and figuring out ways that BiggerPockets can better serve its members. I'm really excited for the opportunity!

@Dan Mackin and @Kevin Grinstead- I will definitely let you know once I'm in town!

To all of the BiggerPockets members residing in the Denver Area,

I am extremely excited to be relocating to Denver to join the BiggerPockets team starting on April 3rd. Upon my arrival, I will also be seeking my first multifamily property (I am already in the process of getting pre-approved) and wanted to reach out to the Denver community to see if there is anyone that would be around to grab a coffee and talk real estate/finance?

Let me know! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!

Do you need to be a landlord to attend? Or can newbies who are looking to soon acquire their first property soon join as well?

Hey @Dylan Grabowski, Welcome to BP! I am in the same boat as you, but am actually relocating to Denver in the next couple of weeks.

I strongly advise that you listen to the BP podcasts on a daily basis and read the books that the guests recommend in the "Famous Four" part of the show. Also, www.biggerpockets.com/books is where you can find Brandon Turner's list of top 20 real estate books. I've been knocking these out pretty quickly. I highly suggest you do the same.

Best of luck!

Hi @Valentina Naumenko

I have not 100% decided on getting my Florida RE license. However, if deemed necessary, I will definitely get it.

Hi everyone,

I am looking to get my career started in real estate investing. Over the past 8 months, I have read countless books, listened to the BP podcasts daily, attended sebinars, webinars, REIAs, etc. and now feel comfortable to start learning first-hand.

Is anyone hiring or looking for help in any sort of way in the Orlando or Tampa areas?

My professional experience is venture capital. For the past 2 years, I have worked extremely hard to push through $230+ million of transactions doing diligent research from a qualitative (market/product) as well as a quantitative (financial) perspective. While my first-hand real estate experience, I can promise that my diligent work ethic and motivation will compensate; enabling me to learn quickly!

Please shoot me a private message if you know of anything.

Hey Andrew Savikas I'm from Northeastern as well.... did my undergrad in business there. Go huskies! Justin Sumulong n I think getting your MBA is a waste of time and money.... in my opinion it just makes you more "employable." If you're looking to start your own business, I'd recommend just getting out and doing it rather than wasting 2+ years and thousands of dollars on classes you won't remember anything from. Read books and ask for advice on the forums here.... you've got over 320,000 people that would be happy to help. The best thing an MBA is good for is to build a network to quality individuals with real estate know how. You can get this on BP, REIAs, and other events for much cheaper.
