Hello, I'm new to building and developing and would love some pointers as to a common process of a typical building project. I'm wanting to build a duplex and have much of the process started as far as my builder in place, engineering underway and multi-family lot in place. One question I have... When I have the lot Im going to build on and all the plans from architect and engineer, is there a way to get an estimated appraisal on the final product once completed? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Drawings are currently underway with an engineer. Will that help a little more once it is complete?

Hello everyone, I have all links in place to go forward with building a home with containers (yes as in shipping containers.) The city refers to the building as a modular home. What things do I need to consider and/or look into as far lending goes when it is time to resell the property? I am not familiar with lending on different types of housing? Do lenders do anything different with the considered modular home? I would appreciate any advice anyone can give.

I found a bank that will do 75% LTV on my property . The problem I am facing now is that the bank says they cant do it, because the property is held in an LLC. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.. I have tried many other banks as well, they will not bother either because the market value is under 60k
