Hello all!
My name is Daniel, I've lived in the Indianapolis area for just about 7 years. I've had a desire to invest in buy and hold rentals properties since I was old enough to know what "rent" was.
I've nearly jumped in a few times, but only recently have I really learned what it entails, thanks to Bigger Pockets.
My wife and I are closing our first deal this week: a live-in flip. In 2017 our goal is to obtain one SFH rental property to test the waters. If all goes well, we'll use the BRRR strategy to get 2 more in 2018, and over the course of several years work our way to 30 doors. I have several and varied skills, contacts, resources, but I am always on the lookout for others with complimenting interests and resources to share with and learn from.

I'll vouch for Todd Whitehead at Rock Solid Home Inspections of Indiana. He's honest, does a thorough job, and gives you comprehensive results quickly. He's licensed and holds several InterNACHI an other certifications, and has lots of quality contacts for niche contractors. His fees are comparable to other inspectors in the area, and he'll look out for you to make sure you don't pay for a service you don't need. If you stick with him, he lowers his fees a bit for repeat clients.
