Hello Group

I have a short term rental in the Santa Cruz area that I am looking to get homeowner's insurance on. It seems that most companies have left California. I am hoping someone on here has gone down this road already and can provide a referral or some tips.

This is a huge issue and if you are in the mountains - you may not get covered. Try to FAIR plan then get a wrap around

I just read someplace that in CA if you conduct business here you have to pay the board $800 here. So we just create an LLC for Georigia then bay the CA tax board?

I would consult with an Atty on the best way to protect yourself and assets. THat money can be saved in identify the best place to register your LLC
I recommend KKOS they will help you set it all up.
