Yes, I have to tend to agree. I am currently working rehabs and buy and holds but as I come across certain leads that I cant assist because I do not have the appropriate knowledge in other investment vehicles such as sub 2's and lease options for people with little or no equity.

I agree that trying to learn/take it all in at once is difficult and can deff cause some chaos and confusion.

Bob,

Thanks for reply, Yes that is what is needed to gain possession of the home but for the homes I am speaking of, they have nice expensive houses but do not have the money to pay for the back taxes they have built up over the 1-2 years. Can you come to agreement with them where you  buy the house from them for the taxes then sell the home back to them for a little profit but they will have there taxes relieved....

Thanks

Goodmorning BP!

Should you focus on 1 investment vehicle (such as flipping or wholesaling or leasing or holding) and try and master that one specific vehicle or should you learn how to do all of the above so you can appropriate which vehicle to use for certain situations.

This is not for an advanced investor but for somebody starting out with a couple flips under there belt.. Whats your opinion BP??

Thanks

@John Jackson Thanks for the response! I have experience in flipping homes and buying and holding homes and do have some reserves. I have just been reading up on the oppurtunities that these lease options present and believe it could be a benefit to my investing career and it seems like for certain situations this could be the best option.

I have read that they can be complicated in regards to legality and paperwork especially if you have never done one and do not have a mentor at your disposal to walk through the deal. I am just very interested in learning this aspect of the REI and believe I have a current opportunity where I could help a homeowner/myself/ and a buyer with this type of vehicle.

@Brian Gibbons

Once again, I really appreciate the response and look forward to future advice.
