Hey everyone! I am looking forward to meeting with all of you investors this evening. Tonight I will be pulling properties off the MLS and putting them on the big screen and then will show you how to analyze the property to project the numbers, cash flow, cap rate, cash on cash return and even the debt service ratio. Then we will go into some networking and questions. I am looking forward to it! Enter through the front of the office building then head towards the back to my conference room. If you know me then you know I love talking about real estate. As a real estate agent and active investor its all I think about for the most part. Inspired by Bigger Pockets (all the glory to bigger pockets) I started a podcast about real estate investing! This is not a hit to Bigger Pockets at all nor is it meant to be a competition to Bigger Pockets (because I would never be able to compete lol) but it is a way for me to bring on experienced investors to the podcast and learn for myself as well as let other learn. On my first episode I have AJ Osborne on and we talk about his 8,000 SELF STORAGE UNITS across 13 FACILITIES!!! That is just insane for what he has accomplished.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday Season! This will be our second meet-up. We will try to have them on the first Thursday of each month but because of the new year we will push it back one week.

Our last meeting consisted of half new investors that have never done a deal and would like to learn as well as the other half was active and experienced investors.

Our meeting will take place Thursday, January 9th 2020 @ 7:00pm at Hunt Real Estate of Dewitt. Enter through the front door and we will be in the conference room towards the back. This is a free meet-up!

This meeting will be again more of an open discussion. I may go over a few topics on the board if there are any questions that need full explaining. Please do not be hesitant to join. We encourage people who know nothing about real estate or people looking to get started to stop in. This is how you get started! If you have 2 Units or 200 units, we would like to meet and hear from you as well!

Real Estate meet ups are where I network the most, and is how I bought my first deal, how I found my lender and how I found my handy man I use to this day!

Bring a notebook, some topics to discuss or just sit back and listen. We look forward to meeting with you!

I currently have multiple units but looking to diversity by investing in a self-storage facility.

Does anyone know of any good Self-Storage books or learning material? I cannot seem to find any good ones that are somewhat current, updated and informative. Suggestions?
