You can setup your project any way you want. If you just want them to answer your calls then why not pay a fixed rate per call and they provide the call logs to verify.

It depends on how many I have sent out. If I send out a hundred a week and only one or two come back then I won;t be concerned.

I find I get as better response if I am more direct. Your wording is a little too tentative. Your handwriting is fine. I could read it and it looks personal.

I would say

I was driving around your neighborhood and noticed your house. I want to buy your house.

Please call me after you have read this letter at

XXX-XXX-XXXX

The paper should be yellow and the ink in red. The envelope should be handwritten and have a real postage stamp.

I've used Vistaprint several times. But as others have said - Do you really want cheap business cards. I go to many trade shows and see these handed out with a yahoo email address. The idea is to present yourself as a real business.
